CEC and NZET signed China-New Zealand Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Environmental Labelling in 2006. CEC is the only agent of NZET in China for relevant environmental labeling certification. CEC and NZET signed the Intent of Further Cooperation in May of 2014 and have been engaged in joint development of GEN Common Core Criteria (CCC). GEN CCC aims at encouraging the application of similar criteria among GEN members in order to promote mutual recognition of ecolaballing among them, thus facilitating the development of green trade in the world. A vice general manager of CEC visited NZET in New Zealand in November of 2016 and basically reached the intent of future cooperation.
